What File Formats Are Accepted?
Updated October 9, 2026
Your guests can upload most common photo and video file formats:
Photos
- JPG/JPEG
- PNG
- WEBP
- HEIC/HEIF
Videos
- MOV
- MP4
- MPEG
- WebM
A note about HEIC/HEIF
iPhones can create 'Live photos' which are basically 3 second videos but are created when you take photos. InvitePix processes these "live photos" as an individual photo. When you select an HEIC/HEIF photo to upload your device will chose the best high-resolution photo and send that to the gallery.
