Show your gallery on a TV during the party

Updated October 7, 2026

You can turn guest photos into a live slideshow during the party. Connect a laptop to the TV with HDMI or AirPlay, open your InvitePix gallery in the browser, and make the window full screen. Photos update as guests upload from their phones.

You can show your main gallery or open a public album link on the TV. For a live slideshow during the party, use your main gallery. New guest uploads go there first, and the view can update as photos arrive. Albums are built from photos already in your gallery, so a public album shows the set you chose. It does not fill up on its own while guests keep uploading.

Set it up

  1. 1Connect the laptop to the TV (HDMI cable, or AirPlay or screen mirroring from a Mac).
  2. 2Sign in and open your main gallery in the browser. Open a public album link instead if you want a fixed set on screen.
  3. 3Go full screen: F11 on Windows, or Control + Command + F on Mac.
  4. 4Leave that browser window open during the party so new photos can appear.

Tips for you

  • For photos appearing as guests upload, open your main gallery on the TV, not a public album link.
  • Use a public album when you want a fixed set on screen. Add photos to the album from your gallery first.
  • Test the connection and full screen before guests arrive.
  • If the Wi-Fi is spotty, uploads still finish on guests' phones; the TV view updates when new photos reach your gallery.
