What happens when your hosting period ends

Every paid package includes a hosting period counted from your event date, not from the day you buy. Memories, Celebration, and Bundle each include a different length of time after your event. Once you set your event date, you can open guest uploads right away and keep them open through the end of that period.
About 30 days before hosting ends, InvitePix sends you reminder emails. They point you to your gallery so you can download your photos and videos while everything is still there. When the hosting period ends, the gallery closes. Guest uploads stop, and you cannot use the gallery the way you do today. Download what you want to keep before that date.
Example (Celebration, 12 months)
- You buy Celebration in October and set your event for June 1 next year.
- Guest uploads can start as soon as you set the date, including months before the party.
- Uploads and your gallery stay open through 12 months after your event date (through June 1 the following year).
- Starting about 30 days before that end date, reminder emails guide you to download.
- When that date passes, the gallery closes.
What changes when hosting ends
- Guest uploads close. New photos will not come in through your QR or upload link.
- Your gallery closes for viewing and downloads through InvitePix.
- Plan to save copies before hosting ends.
Free gallery
The free gallery does not use the same paid hosting clock. It does not expire like a paid package.
